Our Team

  • Kai Flood

Kai grew up in North Pinellas but has lived in St. Pete with her husband Tyler for seven years now.

When not working as an Events Coordinator, she enjoys spending time with Tyler and their pup Kona, cheering on the Lightning and the Noles, and going to the beach. While attending Florida State, they were heavily involved in the Catholic Student Union, and after moving back to the Tampa area, craved that same faith-filled social community and knew others in the area did as well. By the power of the Holy Spirit CYA St. Pete was born!

In her words: “I believe young adults have the experience and hope to inspire generations of Catholics to invest in the truth of God’s Word and have fun while living that Truth out in the world!”

  • Audrey Kovacic

Audrey grew up in South Tampa as a cradle Catholic and taught in a Catholic Elementary school for four years and is going into her 6th year of ministry as the youth minister at St. Paul’s in St. Pete. She loves coffee, matcha, reading and the great outdoors! Her favorite animal is a beluga whale, snarky remarks is her second language and Audrey is a huge Parks and Rec fan!

In conjunction with ministering to teenagers, Audrey has the privilege of walking with and inviting young adults to ministry as they live out their faith.

"I love bearing witness to the fruits of the Holy Spirit in the mission field of young adult life because when young adults witness their faith our world changes for good."

  • Megan Card

Megan is a native to the beautiful ‘Burg and a parishioner at St. John Vianney on St. Pete Beach.

You may recognize Megan most by her obvious case of “ginger-vitis”. Depending on who you ask, she debatably has orange or red hair and can’t go outside for more than 10 minutes without getting sunburned. But she doesn’t let the harsh Florida sun stop her from being outside though. You can usually find her working on her house, kayaking or exploring Florida’s various hidden gems with friends and family.

She has a passion for hospitality and wants nothing more than to create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who encounters our faith-filled community.

“If we haven’t met already, I look forward to meeting you and serving our community together!“

  • Cody Holton

Cody’s a St. Pete native, recent Catholic convert and owner of a great beard. He works for a beer distributor as basically a beer plumber (keeping St. Pete's draft beer systems in check, amen for that). He loves having a good time with his friends by sharing lots of food and plenty of laughs.

Some fun facts: He likes to reads theology and philosophy from time to time. He can be a bit intimidating when you first meet him, but as he warms up he is the most joyful person in the room with a laugh you can hear from blocks away and through walls. Plus, he hasn’t used a razor to shave his face since high school.

He's very passionate about putting together events that not only brings the community closer but also gets individuals closer to our Lord.
